PRAXIS, NEW WORLD SAISON, 6.0%
In the writing of Hannah Arendt, Praxis is the action in contrast to fabrication (poiesis) or the world of pure thought and theory. It is doing, instead of just saying. Demonstrative, not persuasive. Conveniently, Praxis is also a riff on the notion of habits, a notion which hearkens back to the roots of this beer.
This is our modern take on a refreshing and dry Belgian saison as it might be brewed by a modern American brewery. We use bright American Amarillo hops in the dry hopping process to accentuate the fruity character of our house yeast culture (which we tend to with the attention deserving of a house cat).
We believe good saison can exist without tricks and gimmicks. It is for drinking.
